Got a restraining orders put on me help?

i got arrest the other day cos i called the cops on my ex man cos he had left my three little girls to be with a 17 yr old girl..... the cops got there n asked questions to him not me. so then he i get to jail n they told me that i had a restraing order put on me n i had asked him did he put one on me n he said no well apparently the officer did... well anyways iam not allowed back to the house or anythin i hav my girls with me n were stayin at gf house but its to much stress on me since she has kids too. i would like to know could i go back if he says ok since his not leavin there at all n could i put a restraining order on him or whatshould i do
