Can i put mealworms in the airing cupboard??????????????????????…

i want to know if i can pu my mealworms in the airing cupboard because they have been sitting on the top of the oats and not burying like they uasually do??!!!! they were settled for the first 2 days they became unsettled, what should i do???? will putting them in the cupboard make them happier coz their in my wardrobe at the moment???!!!!!
