Can you use a regulor moisturizer for your eye area instead of those eye creams?

ok i use Aveeno active natural skin relief moisturizing lotion with soothing oat essence and was wondering it it be ok if i used it for the eye area as well cause that area has been getting really dry after swimming and dont want to have wrinkles when im still a teen
