Anyone with some advice...greatly appreciated!!!?

In this case I think the best thing you can do is rip it off like a bandaid. What I mean by that is just break it off with her. Yes you are going to be a dick in her eyes and yes she will hate you but regardless of what you do or how nice you are it looks like it is going to end up being that way anyway. Good Luck.
