My friend (a guy) came round to my house to hang, ended up making out idont know what we are or how to act now?

we've been talking a lot over the phone and we used to go to school together but we werent reli good friends at school but have become good friends in the last 2 years since leavin school. that night he said that he was attracted to me but he didnt liked as more than that but he also said that he says things he doesnt mean. when he left at like 6 in the morning (we hadnt done anythin other than make out) he just hugged me and said ill see u sometime when im not working as he was walking away. he hasnt texted me since or initiated any conversations. im confused about what he wants to be now and if he still even wants to be friends or of he just used me to hook up and now doesnt want to talk to me. PLEASE HELP
